A short while ago, I bought a new Apple watch. More specifically, I purchased the Series 7 Apple Watch 41.
I’ve owned an Apple watch in the past, though it beats me as to whether I had a Series 1 or Series 2 Apple watch. I truly cannot for the life of me recall which one it was, but what I do know is that it was not holding up well!
The battery had already started to fizzle out, and last summer, when I’d wear the watch while walking outside, the watch was incapable of tracking my walk as exercise. The stopwatch kept freezing to the point where I never trusted it’d be reliable, and much to my dismay, despite it being expected, it never worked.
So, I gave up on it to an extent. I didn’t throw out my old Apple watch because a part of me was convinced that it just needed to take a breather, and like magic, I was holding out hope that it would work in time.
The hope I had eventually snowballed into hopelessness, at which point I decided it was time to face reality, so I bought a new Apple watch — again, more specifically, the Series 7 Apple Watch 41. When you go to add one of these watches to your cart, you’re faced with a lot of options regarding which type of watch you’d like to buy.
In all honesty, I’m not terribly picky when it comes to Apple watches. All I’ve yet to use mine for is tracking my workouts, but now that I’m typing this all out, I’m thinking I should explore my watch some more and look into all that it’s capable of doing!
Anyway… Where was I?!
☆ Series 7 Apple Watch 41 ☆ Initial Thoughts
My initial thoughts on the Series 7 Apple Watch 41 is that it’s gorgeous! I bought the gold version of the watch and it came with a taupe-colored band, which I also adore. The watch itself is very sleek, and as soon as I put it on, I was reminded of why I love Apple watches as much as I do.
But visual first impressions aside, the Series 7 Apple watch was very quick to charge. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe it took no more than twenty minutes for the watch to reach a full charge. I was stoked, seeing as I picked up my Apple watch from the mail room right before heading to the gym for the evening!
I was also appreciative of the fact that the Series 7 Apple Watch came with two wristbands. At first, I attached the shorter of the two wristband options to the watch itself. However, having the option to size up to the bigger wristband was a god-send because I often — though not always — wear lifting gloves at the gym, which I cannot wear comfortably with the Apple Watch set to the smaller band.
At first, I thought I was going to have to choose one or the other, which would’ve defeated the entire purpose of buying an Apple Watch in the first place. However, with the help of the longer Apple Watch Series 7 band, I can have the best of both worlds! It’s a win-win, really.
However, to sum up my initial thoughts, I found the Apple Watch Series 7 edition to be very pleasing on the eyes. It’s chic yet sporty while also offering heightened technology in a way that regular, non-smart watches cannot!
☆ Series 7 Apple Watch 41 ☆ Review
Instead of giving an arbitrary rating when it comes to the Series 7 Apple Watch 41 review, let’s forgo the typical system of assigning a certain number of stars to this product. Instead, let’s focus on whether I would recommend it or not!
Starting with a broad answer and getting more specific as I type, the straightforward answer is that I absolutely would recommend the Series 7 Apple Watch 41 model! It’s impeccable. Now, I don’t have much to compare it to seeing as the only other Apple Watch I’ve ever owned crashed and burned shortly after I bought it. To be fair, I picked it up as a refurbished version, so that could have contributed…
But I digress! My point is that I went from a pre-owned, relatively outdated, and short-lived watch to this more modern, closer-to-the-newest-edition-than-the-previous-one edition of the Apple Watch! To summarize more succinctly, I definitely upgraded.
Sometimes, upgrading makes you realize that no matter how new or idyllic the version of the product is, it still misses the mark. But with the Apple Watch, I don’t think that’s the case at all. It’s spectacular! And upgrading opened my eyes to just how lovely and beneficial an Apple Watch can be.
All of this is to say that I don’t have any complaints about the Series 7 Apple Watch 41 whatsoever… And I’m not just saying that. I pinky promise! Rather, that’s simply how pleased I am with this purchase from Apple. It cost a little under $500 in total, so keep that in mind. By no means is it an inexpensive purchase, but if you think an Apple Watch Series 7 would improve your life even a little bit, I say full send it! You deserve a little treat here and there… So, why not go for it?! I support you through and through hahah.
